Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum [1968]

Crushing debut of California power-trio Blue Cheer, very far from their contemporary hippie buddy's. Tons of distrotion and a rhythmic bass so overwhelming that this group was chosen to start a new musical trend that would be the creator of "heavy". A highlighted version of Cochran's Summertime Blues, which included the riff of Hendrix's "Foxy Lady". Who was their greatest influence, along with Cream and Steppenwolf.

1.- Summertime Blues
2.- Rock Me Baby
3.- Doctor Please
4.- Out of Focus
5.- Parchment Farm
6.- Second Time Around

Dickie Peterson 1948 - 2009 R.I.P.

Bass Player, Singer, Founder of Blue Cheer. The heaviest band to come out of the 60's.

"I've been married twice, I’ve had numerous girlfriends, and they’ll all tell you that if I’m not playing music I am an animal to live with. ...Music is a place where I get to deal with a lot of my emotion and displaced energy. I always only wanted to play music, and that’s all I still want to do." - Dickie Peterson
